Wonders of Human Body

  • Femur or the thighbone is the largest bone in our body. Also the strongest bone in the body, this bone accounts for almost a third of our height.
  • The eye muscle is the most active muscle in the human body. It moves more than 100,000 times a Day.
  • We sneeze to get rid of a foreign substance that irritates the sensitive parts of the nose. The body forces out air from the lungs through the nose causing a sneeze
  • We can only sense four different types of tastes like 'sweet' 'sour' 'salt' and 'bitter'. We sense these tastes by means of patches of sensory cells grouped into taste buds on the tongue and the sides of the mouth.
